Instead Of Lead - ref 1158B - 250ml

Since Petrol became unloaded, combustion engines are prone to excessive wear to valves, rings, and parts of
the cylinder head. To protect against excessive wear, Bardahl Instead of Lead has developed a safe lubricant
for valves and cylinder heads. A product that does not pollute the environment and lubricates it just as well, or
even better, than the lead used in the gasoline.

The problem
Valves and parts of the cylinder head in vehicles manufactured in the earlier1970s and ship and agricultural
material manufactured up to 1975 require a high lead content in petrol to prevent valve wear, cylinder head
wear, and engine failure. Without the protection of a lubricant, valve seats wear out and deviate back into the
cylinder head, resulting in compression loss, power loss, and higher fuel consumption. And eventually, when
the valves no longer seal properly, the engine no longer works. In the case of automobiles made after 1980,
whose engines are regularly exposed to driving at higher speeds, valves and cylinder heads are not adequately
lubricated by unloaded fuel.

The solution
Bardahl, Instead of Lead, directly prevents metal-to-metal contact, which causes excessive wear. This high temperature protection is always maintained when Instead of Lead is added to the petrol. It prevents
excessive wear on valve seats and the surfaces of the cylinder head in lead-poor and unleaded petrol.

Advantages:
⎯ Ensures exceptional valves and seat lubrication and prevents burn-in and wear.
⎯ Extends the duration of gasoline storage by 24 months.
⎯ Prevents premature wear on seals
⎯ Extends the life of the engine.

Manual
Bardahl Instead or Lead can be used safely in all engines, in petrol with or without lead. It doesn't damage
catalysts. Add it to a full tank of fuel with each refueling. The mixing ratio is indicated on the package. One vial
is enough for 250 liters of petrol.
