Bardahl Radiator Cleaner cleans the cooling system. It is a product specially developed to remove the oxidized
and solidified by-products of antifreeze and refrigerant, as well as combustion residues. It combines sulfate
succinates, surfactants, and oil and fat dissolvers. It also contains detergents, which dissolve and disperse the
dirt and keep the loosened dirt and Sludge in suspension.
The problem
Cooling systems ensure that the heat from the engine is transferred to the coolant and then through the radiator to the outside air. Oxidized and jelly-like by-products of coolant and antifreeze prevent this heat transfer. These by-products settle on the metal and act as an adhesive, on which rust, scale, and dirt attach.
This layer of soil forms an insulating separation that reduces the radiating capacity of the heat. As a result, a loss of more than 20% can occur. How it works
Bardahl Radiator Cleaner will remove the deposits that have formed on the metal surface in the cooling system by using a new type of surfactant coupled with solvents. The solvents crawl into every nook and cranny to loosen dirt, break it down and hold it in suspension until the cooling system is drained.
Bardahl Radiator Cleaner can be used without draining the coolant. It will not affect hoses or rubber compounds and is entirely harmless to aluminum.
