Bardahl Radiator Stop Leak stops leaks in the cooling system. It is a combination of sealing components, corrosion inhibitors and ingredients against boiler scale deposition. This product stops leaks from the radiator, hoses and heating, but also hair cracks in the water jacket and cylinder head.
The problem
The cooling system of most engines is a simple mechanical instrument to transfer the heat from the engine block to the liquid of the cooling system and to the outside air through the radiators. This system prevents the engine from overheating, and also ensures that it stays warm enough to operate as efficiently as possible.
A reduction in the coolant level is a dangerous sign. The loss of coolant is dangerous, as it ultimately results in overheating. A noticeable loss means that a leak has occurred somewhere in the system. Sometimes the leaks are in the radiator, but more often still in the engine block, in the connecting hoses, the valves and couplings.
They start small, but due to the high pressure in the system they grow larger very quickly. When one notices a decrease in the liquid level, the first thing to do is to look for visible leaks or cracks. For example, if a bad hose is the cause, it must be replaced.

guiding and are only jointly able to combat the leakage problems. The sealing components continue to search the cooling system until they find a leak. Then they settle in holes or cracks and harden as soon as they come into contact with air. This creates a plastic seal, which is tough enough to withstand the pressure and
temperature of the cooling system and is flexible enough to withstand shocks and vibrations as well, without clogging narrowly through lets.
Bardahl Radiator Stop Leak can thus be used to seal existing leaks. When it is put in the cooling system during a cleaning, it acts as a direct protection against leaks, which may develop later and thus prevents serious damage.
