Bardahl Engine Cleaner( Degreaser) is an extremely efficient, odor less cleaner for all kinds of mechanical parts and electronic equipment. This product has a very low percentage aromatic-solvents which makes is it an ideal general purpose cleaner.
Bardahl Engine Cleaner is a biological degradable, non flammable and powerful cleaner which consists highly alcalic solvents and surface active materials. It is used for thorough cleaning of engines, chassis, gearboxes and propeller shafts.
Bardahl Engine Cleaner can simply be sprayed in various concentrations on parts which have to cleaned; a brush is needed for extremely polluted area’s. This highly concentrated cleaner dissolves oil and grease, tar and dried anti-rust substances very rapidly and is suitable for using on metal as well as artificial and painted surfaces.
The action
It will attack and dissolve grease, oil, tar and similar water insoluble soils from a variety of hard surfaces.
The working
Bardahl Engine Cleaner (Degreaser) will easily dissolve oil, grease, dirt and cutting fluids. It is quick drying and safe for use on electrical parts. The powerful agents in Engine Cleaner go to work to loosen and dissolve performance robbing contamination.
Bardahl Engine Cleaner (Degreaser) can be used to clean engine parts and components for cars, tracks, diesel equipment, tools, machinery, molds, dies, etc.
Bardahl Engine Cleaner (Degreaser) does not release any poisonous vapor orunpleasant odor and is therefore suitable for use in the food-processing industry. It does not contain any chlorinated solvents such as methylene-chloride or 1.1.1trichlorethane or others.
Bardahl Engine Cleaner (Degreaser) does not contain emulsifiers that prevent as table combination between water, product and pollution.
Directions for use
This product does not need special equipment for application. It can be applied bybrush, total immersion or rechargeable aerosol. It is also possible to use this product in a parts-cleaner. If sprayed, the equipment must be explosion proof with no ignitionsources present.
Bardahl Engine Cleaner is suitable for cleaning of all kinds of parts, tools andworking tools. It cleans boats, motorcycles, caravans, agricultural tools and building equipment.
Bardahl Engine Cleaner needs a few minutes to penetrate into the contaminated layer, whereupon the deposit will degrade and soften. After a period of 5-15 minutes is it recommended to clean off the treated parts with a high-pressure cleaner and warm water. Bardahl Engine Cleaner is useable as a concentrate or diluted with water.
Applications
Dilution 1:3 For cleaning of engines, gearboxes, propeller shafts, axels etc. Spray product onto parts and let it penetrate for 10 minutes. Clean off with high pressure cleaner and if necessary dry with an air pressure hose.
Dilution 1:5 For removing paraffin protective coating on new cars. Spray on Bodywork of the car let penetrate for 10 minutes. When paraffincoating has dissolved, spray off with high-pressure cleaner using warm water.
Dilution 1:1 For removing oil and grease from floors. Spray the floor with cleaner and spread with brush. Penetrating time, about 15minutes. Clean off with water.
Dilution 1:10 To clean all polluted surfaces of trucks, van’s, chassis and othermetal surfaces.Bardahl Engine Cleaner is biological degradable, not flammable, acid free and is environmental safe. PH value 12,6
